The Giants' Club is a roleplaying area. This means it's IC-only. We have an OOC command (look ooc for help) for the occasional comment, but abusing this is going to get you kicked, and the staff has final determination over what is and isn't IC. Not to put too fine a point on it, but "no-OOC" is one of the two Rules I Take Very Seriously, and staff will be bastards about the OOC rule. There are many, many places on FurryMUCK where OOC is just fine (or even expected); let us roleplayers have a few where it isn't.
Obviously, the GC is themed for interaction between giants and "littles"; this means there's likely to be wild power mismatches, and while the club's supposed to be a social place, the scenes can get dark and possibly violent. OOC consent is always required, and if you don't like where something involving your character seems to be going, whisper to the other person(s) involved.
The flip side, though, is OOC respect also being required. Basically, don't disrupt somebody else's roleplay, whether or not you think you have an IC justification for doing it. Don't play the hero, and conversely, don't grab somebody who's scening with someone else (unless everyone involved is okay with it).
The central room – the lodge room with the fireplace and all – is considered a "PG-13" room with respect to sexuality. Stuff you could get away with in a PG-13 movie is okay; stuff that would get you an "R" rating isn't. An AC/DC song is innuendo; "you have a huge package in those shorts, can I rub myself against it" is, particularly if acted on, going too far. Cleavage is PG-13, genitalia are not. For character descriptions, our general guideline for "PG-13-ness" is not nudity but prurience. (Rhapsodizing for several sentences about your naughty bits isn't acceptably PG-13, even if they're covered.)
The PG-13 rule is the other Rule I Take Very Seriously. If people in the room ask you to "take it out back" because you're making them uncomfortable, you are strongly advised to consider their request rather than snap at them for being prudes – and rather than making them get staff involved, since the staff is more than likely to take their side, not yours. I am not interested in debating the fairness of this; like OOC places, adults-only rooms aren't hard to find here.
The room is PG-13 for violence, also; just keep in mind that Jurassic Park was a PG-13 movie. Gore and graphic nastiness is discouraged, but management respectfully notes many giants are big enough to swallow you whole with nary a drop of blood involved, which doesn't violate the room's rating at all. Don't say we didn't warn you.
The areas to the north of the Giants' Club are set adults-only and thus have no rating restriction (see, I said they weren't hard to find), as well as no size restriction. The sign out back has detailed information.
Last but not least: The main room room is designed to be comfortable for giants in the 80′–100′ height range, although with the rafters at 150′, someone could be nearly half again that high without having to duck. Nobody should call for your head if you're taller, but you're expected to roleplay appropriately – which means staying outside if you're too big to comfortably fit.
To enter the club area, you must indicate agreement to these rules. Do that by typing @set me=giantclue:ic-only. Agreeing to the rules means agreeing to follow them, and the staff is empowered to sweep and even banish offenders.
Speaking of staff: that's Arilin, Chipotle, Person, Kitana, Mega, and Missy_Vixen. You aren't obligated to be nice to them IC, per se, but you're obligated to listen to them OOC.
